I think it was because I really liked to tell stories while we were slaying orcs with our +5 Holy Avenger swords. Roleplaying with creative people who share my interest in writing stories and roleplaying online has made building Granite, with all the work it entails, a lot more fun than I would have had just writing things for myself. The thing I love best is opening up my email account and seeing new stories, especially by people who have never published anything before, but also by dear friends who are totally stunning in their own right. When I lost contact with my group of improv dance/theater/music friends due to moving, I found RP on mushes the closest thing I could find where I lived. As a person who has suffered from depression most of her life, meeting people was something I have never done really well. MUSHing allowed me to make friends while being who I truly was. Chad	Dmitri Romanov Pyotr Bulcheski	I started MUSHing about three years ago, when I had trouble finding anyone to play tabletop with as I entered into college. A friend of mine introduced me to the game and since then, I've been hooked. Since then, my ability to write, roleplay, and imagine has increased, and heck as a job skill, my typing has reached 62 WPM. I find RolePlay to be very stimulating and enjoyable, but I also realize there are other things in my life as well, having, I believe beaten back a nasty net addiction. Currently, in addition to playing at the two MU* listed, I also play in two different LARPs(helping to run one of them), and I also do many devious things in my spare time, such as In Nomine, Battletech, or simply write haiku when I can.
